Sunflower season is upon us and we can hardly wait! Every year, nature lovers hit the road to find their favorite sunflower field - all to get that perfect photo. What if we told you that there's an opportunity to roam a sunflower field while also visiting an awesome NorCal winery? Turkovich Family Wines is allowing you to do just that! It's only for a limited time, though, so hurry and check this out.
Located in beautiful Winters, California, Turkovich Family Wines is a hidden gem of a winery in Yolo County. Surrounded by rolling hills, oak trees, and vineyards, it makes for a fantastic place to spend the day sippin' wine.
Established in 2007, Turkovich Family Wines has both a tasting room in downtown Winters and a winery on Buckeye Road. Although the tasting room is a pleasant experience, nothing beats going straight to the source and enjoying a private tasting there.
The winery is currently booking private tasting reservations for the 2021 season. A private tasting is just $35 per person and lasts two hours. In addition to daily tastings, the winery also holds a variety of sunflower-oriented events.
From June 3rd to June 30th, visitors who reserve a private tasting will also receive a Sunflower Field Pass. Visitors can use the pass to visit the nearby Button & Turkovich sunflower fields. Don't forget your camera!
Nothing beats a stroll through the vibrant sunflower field, especially after a wine tasting of amazing local wine. A field map and sunflower education guide are also provided with your field pass.
Additionally, the winery will be hosting all types of sunflower events, like a Sunflower Paint & Sip Night, Sunflower Floral Workshop, and Sugar Cookies & Sunflowers. What a way to showcase the amazing agricultural bounty here in Yolo County!
