When it comes to stunning scenery, there's no shortage of beautiful spaces and places to explore in Southern California. Although you may already have a few of your favorite trails that you know and love, it's always fun to head down a new trail and explore the sights and sounds of unfamiliar surroundings.
Here's one of our favorites -- Buck Gully Trail. Wander along a tree-lined path where you'll be surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature at every turn.
Buck Gully Trail is located within Bulk Gully Reserve at 872 Poppy Ave, Corona Del Mar, CA 92625.
What exactly do we love about Buck Gully Trail?
From fairytale footbridges to dreamy tree-lined paths, you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and surround yourself with the peace and quiet of nature without having to stray far from home.
The shady paths draped with a canopy of trees turn this ordinary trail into an extraordinary setting. It's right out of a storybook.
More than just beautiful, it's also a pleasant place to be on a hot SoCal day when you need to escape from the heat.
The trail isn't too short or too long -- it's juuuuuust right. Registering at a little over 4 miles, this trail is just the thing you need to get outside and enjoy the fresh outdoor air.
The trail itself is categorized as easy, so even new hikers who are considered beginners can still enjoy some time out on the trail. It's equally enjoyable for those who consider themselves more advanced as there's plenty of variety in the scenery to keep everyone engaged and challenged.
You'll even find a stream along the trail that provides a nice place to stop and take a rest. Now that's perfection!
Although the trail may temporarily be closed due to the present conditions, you'll want to bookmark this destination for later as it's well worth a visit.
