You probably couldn’t imagine a world without Montana, and honestly, why would you want to? It simply wouldn’t be the same without the Treasure State.
Here are 10 undeniable reasons why the world is a better place with Montana in it:
1. Our wildlife collection is unlike anything on Earth.
It's true. Our country is full of beautiful wildlife, but Montana is known for having the biggest variety (and the birds and mammals are easy to find).
2. Dinosaurs would be much more of a mystery.
When dinosaurs roamed the Earth, they REALLY roamed Montana. Our Dinosaur Trail is like nothing else in the world.
3. There would be no Yogo sapphires on the Crown Jewels of England.
Or anywhere else. And that would be a tragedy.
4. We wouldn’t have the Holter heart monitor.
Well, we might, but it would be called something different and it would have been invented much later.
5. We are a swing state, and we bring excitement to election season.
And it’s better to keep things interesting.
6. Glacier National Park is more than a Montana treasure… it’s the world’s treasure.
And the world is better off because of it.
7. We would never have known it’s possible to jump 14 Greyhound buses on a motorcycle and survive.
Montana gave us Evel Knievel, one of the world’s greatest daredevils.
8. Our crops feed millions.
Wheat, corn, huckleberries and cherries… Montana farmers feed many hungry bellies.
9. It’s called The Last Best Place for a reason.
Montanans might not be too keen on too many people moving here, but they love it when you visit. They know sometimes people from all over the world need a respite from the daily grind, a place to go where they are always surrounded by natural beauty.
10. And can you imagine a world without Pickle Barrel sandwiches?
We didn’t think so.
The world needs Montana. And our state is very underrated. Read on to see why.
