There’s A Treehouse Village In Montana Where You Can Spend The Night
Summer might be tourist season here in Montana, but those who call the Treasure State home year-round know that the off-season is actually a fantastic time to travel locally. And if you ski — or you just love being surrounded by snow — we highly recommend heading to Whitefish and spending a weekend at the Snow Bear Chalets. This small treehouse village is both unique and inviting.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

This little treehouse village is especially unique because it's located right on Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort’s Hope Slope.

Hope Slope is the first to open each season, and it even offers night skiing.

In the summer, you're just steps away from the mountain’s main mountain biking trailhead, not to mention numerous nature trails.

They have large living areas, full kitchens, and cozy amenities like Moss stone gas fireplaces.

Imagine how amazing an evening soak will feel after a day of skiing or exploring by snowshoe.

Since there is often a three-night minimum, you can split the cost with another family or a small group of friends.

This won't be exactly like sleeping in your backyard treehouse as a child, but we suspect it may be a bit better.
This magical place was once listed by TIME Magazine as one of the World’s Greatest Places. Learn more and book your stay on their website.
