There’s a lot to love about life in Montana, and you won’t find people with more state pride than those who call it home. That being said, that doesn’t mean we never have any grievances. If at least a few of these things make you roll your eyes, you probably grew up in Big Sky Country.
Yes, it's necessary, and yes, we're thankful for our good roads and thankful construction workers have good jobs. But that doesn't mean we have to like the delays and annoyances of it all.
It would be quite a reach to claim that EVERY Montanan is polite. That isn't the case. But overall, we're a group who was raised to have manners, and we don't appreciate people acting rude.

The rumors about Montanans hating Californians is blown out of proportion. We certainly don't. That being said, there are a good number of Montanans who have plenty of California jokes. It is what it is!

The song "Wide Open Spaces" may as well have been written about Montana. We like our space here, and crowds freak us out.
Admit it: When you're alone on the highway, you just want to GO. It's in our blood.
