Treat Yourself To Sweet Nostalgia At This Beloved Montana Confectionery

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

And while it's changed ownership a few times, it's still a small, family-owned and operated business.

From the assorted chocolates to the chocolate cherries and vanilla creams, you'll find everything you never knew you needed.

When the latest owners purchased The Parrot, the former owners stuck around for a year to teach the art of chocolate-making.

The authentic sodas are still made by soda jerks. The ice cream is homemade and hand-packed, just like the good old days.

There are no artificial preservatives, sweeteners, or high fructose corn syrup in their products.

Of course, then you'll miss the charming atmosphere of the shop.

If you've never been, come see what you've been missing all these years.
Have you ever been to The Parrot? If you love chocolate, we’ve got the perfect road trip route for you.
