The Beach-Themed Restaurant In Montana Where It Feels Like Summer All Year Long
The weather outside is officially frightful. Luckily, if you’re missing summer, there’s always one place in Montana you can go to sip fruity cocktails and have a beach day. This is the time of year that we love to give a shout-out to the infamous Sip n’ Dip Lounge in Great Falls, our quirky mermaid bar that has been receiving national praise for years.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

But thanks to a team of geniuses who turned the old swimming pool into a bar, that's exactly what you'll find here.

No matter how cold and snowy it gets outside, inside, it's always summer.

They also serve a full menu of tasty food, and while it's not the main reason to come in, it's still convenient.

For several hours each day, you can watch beautiful mermaids - and sometimes mermen - swimming around in the pool.

It's worth noting that, although the lounge is all-ages until 9 p.m., this is definitely a bar. If you're looking for a true family-friendly experience, check out the mermaid brunch on Sundays.

Piano Pat performs on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings. She's well into her 80s, and she is an absolute legend.

They're open until 2 a.m. most nights, although they tend to wrap up around midnight on Sundays and Mondays. After all, mermaids need their rest too.
Have you ever been to the Sip n’ Dip? If you’re craving a beach day but don’t have the means to make that happen, this whimsical bar is the next best thing.
