This Scenic Drive Runs Straight Through Montana’s Glacier National Park, And It’s A Breathtaking Journey

Just about any drive in Montana means access to incredible views and lots of opportunities for attractions. In fact, around every corner is a forest, mountain, or lake just waiting to be explored. And, while we love having such easy access to beautiful landscapes, it certainly pays to go out of our way a bit. This drive through Glacier National Park is a fantastic way to remember just how lucky we are to be in Montana. You’ll undoubtedly want to check this out.

While the Going-to-the-Sun Road is open year-round near the park’s West Entrance, the entire road isn’t open until the winter conditions improve. At the earliest, this is typically late June. Be sure to check the official National Park Service website for current conditions and closures. Also, note that all vehicles accessing the road will need reservations beginning in summer 2023.
