Fresh Flathead cherries, huckleberries (and huckleberry bear claws from the Polebridge Mercantile), steaks, burgers, treats from Wheat Montana... we grow and raise almost everything in the Treasure State.
7. We get to claim Giant Springs as our own.
Giant Springs is one of the largest freshwater springs in the country, and it was discovered by the Lewis & Clark Expedition in 1805.
8. Montana is the only state that has a triple divide.
This allows water to flow into the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean and the Hudson Bay.
9. We are the most spoiled when it comes to bookstores.
The Treasure State has more bookstores per capita than any other.
10. We get to enjoy a truly slower pace of life.
The state of Montana is basically a small town with a lot of roads in between. We encourage a nice, relaxed life here.
