This One Of A Kind Restaurant In Montana Is Fun For The Whole Family
If you’ve spent any time in Missoula in the last 40 years, you’ve probably heard of Paul’s Pancake Parlor. This unique eatery is definitely the perfect place for pancake lovers, and at this point, it’s a tasty piece of local history.
Paul's Pancake Parlor is located at 2305 Brooks Street in Missoula.
Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you -- there's always a pancake party happening inside.
Paul's was founded in 1963 by Paul Gjording, who took great pride in his pancake spot.
When Paul sold the restaurant to Elly Ramos, he taught her everything she knew. Elly eventually sold the place to her son, Mike Ramos, who owns it today... but not before she made him work there every day for a year so she could pass on Paul's wisdom.
Restaurants come and go in Missoula, but Paul's remains a cherished local gathering spot.
This mom-and-pop restaurant is warm and inviting, and the staff will always make you feel welcome.
It's probably pretty obvious what the menu's main focus is here.
The pancakes are plentiful, and they are legendary.
The pancakes come in classic buttermilk, sourdough, topped with every imaginable flavor, or even rolled.
And if you can't decide, you can (thankfully) get a sampler.
Good news: You don't have to love pancakes to enjoy a meal here.
Paul's actually has a large breakfast menu aside from the pancake selection, and they serve American classics for lunch and dinner, too.
A large mural on the wall pays homage to the local team, the Grizzlies... but Bobcats are welcome, too.
Paul's is open on weekdays from 6AM–7PM and on weekends from 6:30AM-4PM.
So if you live in Missoula, you could have pancakes every day (and we'd highly recommend them).
Have you ever been to Paul’s Pancake Parlor? They’re one of our favorite
