The St. Mary and Virginia Falls Trail is located just off the Going-to-the-Sun Road, making it convenient to access if you choose to take this popular scenic drive.
While the main attraction for most hikers is likely to be the two waterfalls and the beautiful creek, the journey along this waterfall hiking trail in Montana is just as incredible.
But, it's not long before St. Mary's Falls can be seen. This two-tier waterfall drops about 50 feet and it's one of the most visited falls in the park.
Once you've had your fill, simply turn around and head back the same way you came until you reach the trailhead.
St. Mary and Virginia Falls Trail in Glacier National Park can be accessed year-round, though people generally say it’s best between January and September.
