There’s not much to the tiny town of Alberton. And with a population of less than 500, there doesn’t have to be. But if you like to read, Alberton will be heaven on Earth. It’s home to Montana Valley Bookstore, where you can browse more than 100,000 books.
The building is a former meat market that was built in 1910.
It's almost overwhelming.

Some of the books she receives are donated, others are purchased for a small fee and sold for a small mark up. Many of the books she sells are hard to find or out of print.
Wales says she goes through about 100 boxes of books a year, most of which are sold in the summer.
