Head To The Mountains Of Montana To Visit Lolo Creek Steakhouse, A Charming, Old Fashioned Restaurant
Here in the last best place, we like to keep things simple. And while we’re happy that Montana’s restaurant scene has exploded with tasty new bistros and eateries in recent years, sometimes all we want is a good, old-fashioned meat and potatoes dinner. And that’s when we head to one of our classic spots, like Lolo Creek Steakhouse. Located in the Bitterroot Mountains just below Lolo Peak, this charming restaurant never disappoints.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Many a rancher, hiker, local, tourist, hunter, artist, and even a celebrity or two have passed through their doors.

Mike and Judy Grunow have owned several other Lolo businesses in addition to this one, and all three of their adult children have helped operate it.

And that's exactly the kind of atmosphere the Grunows hoped to create.

This place takes its steaks seriously, and it shows.

If you're a classic meat and potatoes loving Montanan, you'll adore Lolo Creek Steakhouse.

Get your steak with Alaskan King crab legs or Maine lobster tail if you're feeling fancy.

The Steakhouse Mud Pie is to die for and (probably) big enough to share.

This is Big Sky Country dining at its best.
Warm up this winter with a trip to Lolo Creek Steakhouse — your taste buds will thank you.
