The Remote Cabin Restaurant In Montana That Serves Up The Most Delicious Food

And if you're ever in the Cooke City-Silver Gate area, you can enjoy delicious dining in a log cabin that dates back to 1937.

The Log Cabin Cafe is located at 106 US Highway 212 W. in Silver Gate.

Since it's only a mile from Yellowstone National Park, it's a perfect pit stop for hungry travelers.

The town of Silver Gate was actually founded in the early 1930s to accommodate Yellowstone and Beartooth travelers.

This charming log cabin dining room was completed in 1937.

Amazingly, some of the original recipes from the 1930s are still used today...

... and everything is always made from scratch, especially their famous Pumpkin Bread.

Not only is the food delicious, it's made from thoughtfully sourced and high quality ingredients, like chemical and pesticide free Wheat Montana bread and grass fed ground beef.

For example, for most people, recycling is as easy as walking to a recycling bin. Here, recycling means finding the nearest recycle location 29 miles away.

The owner Laurie was born and raised in Silver Gate, so she's passionate about supporting local, family-run businesses.

That must be why the food is so incredible.
