Countless Celebrities Have Loved This Iconic Montana Eatery And Bar For Decades
There’s no hiding the fact that quite a few celebrities love Montana. Whether they have first or second homes here or simply visit whenever they can, this special state is quite a destination. And, of course, where there are celebrity homes there are certainly celebrity sightings. More than a few of them have taken place at this iconic Montana eatery and bar located in Livingston. Around for over 100 years, this bar is a must-visit if you love Montana, access to great food, and some glitz and glamour every now and again.
The Murray Bar, located within the Murray Block in Livingston, has been around for over 100 years. Its location along the Yellowstone River makes it a beloved go-to spot for locals who love to fish, as well as celebrities and other notables passing through.
You'll find it nestled right between two eateries. Gil's Good and 2nd Street Bistro both offer great menus and visitors to Murray Bar have access to both.
Whenever you visit and whatever you order, just be sure to stick around long enough for a celebrity sighting. But keep in mind that in these parts, that might mean a local fishing guide.
Murray Bar is open year-round at varying times each day. Be sure to check out its website for information on hours, the menu, and what to expect during your visit. You can also follow this restaurant on Facebook. The bar can be reached at 406-222-9463.
