This Hot Springs Resort In Montana Is Also A Golf Course And It’s Fun For The Whole Family
Among the many, many things Montana does better than the rest of the country: hot springs. From our fancy hot springs resorts to our rustic natural springs, there’s no better place to go for a relaxing soak than Big Sky Country.
Fairmont Hot Springs Resort has always been one of the more popular places to go for a weekend escape or a relaxing day trip for the whole family. But while the hot springs pools are definitely the main attraction, many people don’t realize that there’s more to this property, including a beautiful full 18-hole golf course.

For decades, this has been a fun, family-friendly place to relax and unwind. The property is regularly renovated and restored, so it always feels sleek and modern.

Native American tribes such as the Flathead, Nez Perce, and Shoshone set up tepees in the surrounding trees so they could enjoy the area. They called the hot pools "medicine waters."

The outdoor pools and the waterslide do occasionally have to close due to our harsh Montana winters.

Fairmont has 153 spacious guest rooms and suites, and the team will make an effort to accommodate your entire family.

The Waters Edge Dining Room (pictured here) features local meats and West Coast seafood. The Springwater Cafe offers casual dining options all day and evening, and Whiskey Joe’s Lounge features a full-service bar, wine, microbrews, and appetizers.

Fairmont's golf course is a beautiful and challenging 18 holes that span 150 acres.

It's recognized as one of the most challenging golf course holes in Montana, and possibly the country. Fortunately, many Montanans seem to be up to the challenge.

Whether you come to golf, feast, or simply soak in the pools, you're sure to have a great time.
