Once upon a time, over a century ago, the original passenger train station was built by the Great Northern Railroad in Billings. Two decades ago, long after serving its time as a depot, it was completely restored. These days, the Historic Billings Depot is one of Montana’s top event venues, and you’ll definitely want an invitation to whatever party is happening here.

Some prominent political figures, Hollywood celebrities, and even visiting royalty have all been inside this historic depot.

In 1992, scenes for the movie Far and Away (starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman) were filmed here.
The space has been beautifully renovated, and it still plays host to some of Billings' most memorable moments.

Guests can host an array of private soirees here and there are plenty of annual public events here as well.
The building is divided up into two event spaces: the passenger station, with its towering vaulted ceilings, roman columns, and terrazzo floors, and the spacious baggage room which still has the original brick walls and wood floors.

The property also has two outdoor courtyards and a back patio. You can even book the small conference room if you'd like to host a meeting with less than 25 guests.
