Bundle Up: These 8 Montana Trails Are Open All Year, And They’re Magnificent
Hiking is such a quintessential Montana pastime that it’s natural to feel a little sad when some of our finest trails close down due to winter weather. Luckily, we’ve found some beautiful spots that stay open all year. Granted, that doesn’t mean you’ll be able to reach them when the roads are too treacherous, but should you find yourself with some free time on a beautiful winter day, you’ll be glad they’re there.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
Montana hiking trails are so incredibly beautiful. We happen to think these five hikes should be on everyone’s bucket list.
