Hiking season winds down in Montana at the end of October, with many of our trails closing down to prepare for winter weather. Luckily there are some beautiful trails for those who can’t get enough outdoor adventures. These 6 hiking trails have views so breathtaking, you’ll (almost) forget you’re exercising.


You might see some beautiful birds on this 2.8 mile trail located near Hamilton, and you'll definitely notice the stunning views of the canyon.


This 4 mile trail outside Bozeman comes with a double reward: The views from the top, and the mountain goats that hang out there.


The “M” on the west face of Mount Sentinel has been a Missoula landmark since 1908, and now the 3.4 hiking trail that surrounds it offers the best views of the city.


The views from the top of this 2.5 mile loop are definitely worth the climb.
