Montnanans Should Expect Extra Cold And Snow This Winter According To The Farmers’ Almanac
Life in Montana means harsh winters. Part of the beauty of life in the Treasure State is experiencing all four seasons to the fullest, and that includes the snow and ice we are accustomed to. That being said, according to the Farmers’ Almanac predictions, this winter might bring some especially brutal weather. If you’re one of the many Montanans who love the snow, you might be in for a treat this winter.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

While it has certainly come a long way since then, the fact that it's still being used to predict the weather is pretty amazing. The Almanac’s prognosticators still use a formula created almost 230 years ago by founder Robert B. Thomas.

And it has some pretty wild predictions for winter in 2020-2021.

And considering the average snowfall in Montana can be up to 300 inches, that's really saying something.

Billings is slated to have a fairly mild winter, although previous predictions for that area have often been inaccurate.

Enjoy the beautiful, crisp autumn days while you can.

Our temperatures may be low, but all it takes is one winter sunset to see that life in the Treasure State is beautiful in any season.
