This Just Might Be The Most Montana Restaurant Ever… And You’ll Love It
Montana has come a long way since its early mining days, but our Western cowboy history roots run deep. And if you’ve ever been to the Cowboy Bar & Supper Club in Fishtail, you’ve had a taste of classic Montana fare. This old school eatery is a timeless treasure.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. It sits on the West Rosebud River, where it has been for the better part of a century.

They often have live music or other special events on the weekends.


Naturally, there's an entire section of the menu dedicated to beef, and you'll love it.

'We know weeds and greens are what you feed your horse,' it reads, before claiming their salads are top notch (they are).

Fishtail doesn't have many dining options, but with a place like this, it doesn't need them.

The restaurant is open daily from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m., while the bar stays open until 2 a.m.
There’s nothing like enjoying a delicious meal in a Montana restaurant loaded with history. The Jersey Lilly is another fine example of such a structure.
