Celebrate Winter’s Outdoor Recreation At SNoFLINGA In Montana
When was the last time you attended a classic Montana festival? Despite having a natural knack for social distancing, Montanans do love to come together and celebrate life. And as luck would have it, the annual SNoFLINGA in Butte will be taking place in January once again. Things will definitely be different this year, but there’s still a fantastic line-up your entire family can enjoy.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

The festival has been a huge hit with the locals since its beginnings a few years ago.

But plenty of Montanans come each year simply to enjoy watching the fun and to cheer on their family and friends.

They even host a Polar Plunge event for anyone who dares to run into the cold water this time of year.

One day of the festival is a dedicated Kids' Day with plenty of all-ages activities.

He's here to remind us that times are different this year, and that means the festival will be different as well. A lot of the activities will be virtual in 2021.

This year, you can also enjoy a virtual 5K, a virtual kids' day, and plenty of other activities you can do remotely at the same time as your fellow Montanans.
The official dates for SNoFLINGA are January 20-22, 2021. The Nordic ski races will kick off on January 17th. To sign up or learn more about this fun festival, check out the official website.
