Soak Under The Stars At This Historic Hot Spring In Montana
Montana has plenty of wonderful and relaxing hot springs resorts. But when it comes to soaking under the stars, nothing quite compares to the experience at Bozeman Hot Springs. This one-of-a-kind spot is steeped in local history, but its modern amenities are what makes it amazing.

Mathews built a bathhouse near the springs with a few private bathing rooms and a public plunge bath. The property changed hands several times over the next century, eventually becoming the magnificent structure it is today.

The property has several indoor soaking pools, a cold plunge, a steam room, and a dry sauna. The pools are all naturally heated from water that comes from an underground well and is chock full of minerals.

You can take water aerobics classes in the indoor pools as well.

The four outdoor hot springs pools were added a few years ago and include outstanding rock fixtures, lights, and a stage.

The outdoor pools are where all the public events happen, but even on quiet evenings, there's no better place to be.

They're open until 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 8 p.m. on Friday, and on Saturdays, they're only open from 9 p.m. until midnight.

There are still plenty of summer nights left to swim by moonlight.
