Summers in Montana fly by, so it’s important to slow down and enjoy them as much as possible. One perfect way to do that is to head to Billings for the annual Big Sky International Balloon Rendezvous, also known as Balloons Over Billings. This exciting event has been happening for decades, and everyone is gearing up for the best year yet.

Every July, hundreds of Montanan head to Billings to see the hot air balloons take flight.

This year, Balloons Over Billings will take place on July 26-28, 2019.
The rendezvous is held at Amend Park, and thanks to some generous local sponsors, it's free.

Wake up early and check out the morning ascensions, or join them for the evening glow.
The balloons are definitely the stars of the show here, but they'e not the only attraction.

There will be a pancake breakfast hosted by the Heights & Lockwood Optimist Clubs, as well as fun games and activities throughout the weekend.
