How many times have you caught yourself saying “I’ve lived in Montana for __ years and I’ve never been to *famous tourist attraction*?” It happens. Sometimes we get so busy with our daily lives and a few favorite places that we forget to explore our beautiful state. Make sure to check out as many of places as possible during your time in the Treasure State.
Golfing, boating, and Salmon Lake State Park are just a few of the beautiful things that await you at Seeley Lake. No wonder this is a favorite Western Montana destination.
Tucked up in the northwest corner of the state lies the rugged and remote Yaak Valley, a place where you can truly get away from it all (you definitely won't get cell service). This beautiful place is also fairly close to some other Northwest Montana gems like Libby and Kootenai Falls.

Drive down the scenic Beartooth Highway and explore the area along the Montana-Wyoming border. It's incredible.

Montana has some incredible ghost towns that give us glimpses into the past. Virginia City and Nevada City have beautifully preserved buildings and fun tourist activities and shops to explore.
This peaceful island on Flathead Lake is a gorgeous day trip destination. There aren't many wild horses left, but some lucky visitors still see them.
