What’s Old Is New Again At The Freshly Re-Opened Andrus Hotel In Montana

Dillon is a charming little city in Beaverhead County — and quite frankly, we don’t think it gets enough credit. But if you’ve ever contemplated checking this old gold mining town out, you now have one more good reason to go. Recently, the historic Andrus Hotel, which first opened to the public in 1917, has re-emerged after being closed for years. And despite its century-old building, the new place is nice and modern.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
