The Whimsical Tea Room In Missouri That’s Like Something From A Storybook

Tea rooms are already so charming, yet one little tea room in Missouri is so adorable and whimsical it feels like it could be the setting of a children’s storybook or at least a Gilmore Girls episode! On a residential street in small town Missouri is The Little Clay House, a tea room that is the perfect place for a lunch date.

In 2016, The Little Clay House opened its doors in Marshfield. Serving sandwiches, soups, and to die for baked goods the cozy little eatery quickly became a hot spot in this quiet little town.

Sitting just off the square on a mostly residential street, this home has transformed into a whimsical little tea room.

In warmer weather, it's not uncommon to see locals enjoying a glass of iced tea on their porch.

Inside, you'll feel transported into a cheery wonderland. The eclectic decor only adds to the sense of whimsy.

Gab a cozy table in the corner for lunch with the gals or reserve the room and host a fun get together for friends and family.

Tea offerings are constantly changing with the seasons. Enjoy a rich, spiced tea in the winter or a refreshing citrus infused tea for the summer.

If hot tea is not for you they also serve flavored iced teas. Plus, you can also grab a soda from the fridge or warm up with a cup coffee instead.

You'll find that the menu changes a bit day to day. You can always enjoy hot soups, crisp salads, and hearty sandwiches.

However, dessert at The Little Clay House simply can't be missed! Everything is made from scratch and is simply delectable. Enjoy a slice for yourself or take home treats for everyone to enjoy.
