Stay At America’s Only Pig Museum In Missouri For A One-Of-A-Kind Adventure
We all need a little bit of quirky to spice up everyday life, don’t you think? If you’re an animal lover, you already know how much fun and personality animals bring into our lives. For a one-of-kind overnight adventure that includes a ton of animals, plan a visit to Where Pigs Fly in Missouri, a museum, a bed and breakfast, and a working farm.
Where Pigs Fly & Pigs Aloft Museum in Linn is the only pig museum in the United States, making it absolutely bucket list-worthy, especially if you love animals and the incredibly smart and adorable pigs, in particular.
However, the museum and working farm take the fun even further, offering visitors the chance to stay overnight in one of its five (soon to be four) cozy bedrooms.
Even if you don’t plan to stay the night, you’ll want to check out the museum, which boasts thousands of items of pig memorabilia – from ornaments to knick-knacks and paintings.
You really should be an animal lover if you check-in. After all, you’ll probably run into one of the 10 dogs who call the historic home, in which you’ll be staying, home.
Head to “Oinkin Hall,” a common area where you can kick back, relax, and watch a movie or two. You can pick a flick from the library of films or bring your own.
But, that’s not the best part. Because you’ll be staying on a working farm, you can help feed the animals in the morning. Just be sure to bring clothes you’re not afraid to get dirty.
