Life can get pretty stressful, and we all have our favorite ways to relieve that stress. Have you ever, for example, hit the pedal on a go kart and just zipped around the track, aware of nothing but staying at the front of the race? Whether you need to blow off steam or you’re just craving an adrenaline rush, you can’t go wrong when you race a go kart at Victory Raceway in Missouri.
Hit the accelerator and reach speeds of up to 45 miles an hour at Victory Raceway in St. Louis, an ideal destination if you’re up for a bit of fast-paced fun. The track measures a quarter of a mile.
In its 56,000 square feet of space, Victory Raceway offers both go karting
and a virtual reality arena, which means you can probably spend all day there.

However, before you head out the door, make sure everyone in your party meets the requirements for racing. All participants, for example, must wear close-toed shoes.
Kiddos as young as six are permitted to race
if they are a minimum of 50 inches tall, and their feet can reach the pedals. (Don’t worry; their race karts will go significantly slower than the adult karts.)
All go-karts are one-seaters, so every driver has to be able to drive for themselves. Avoid driving if you have back problems or are pregnant. You can sit on the sidelines and watch for free.
Victory Raceway features three different races. Kids from six to 13 can sign up for the Rookie Race (parents can, too). Go karts reach speeds of up to 25 miles an hour, and it’s all in good fun.
The Amateur Track is for 14 and 15-year-old drivers, who can hit speeds of 35 miles an hour while the Pro Race is for racers 16 and older. That’s where you can zip around the racetrack at 45 miles an hour.
