This Victorian Christmas Festival In Missouri Will Enchant You Beyond Words
Embrace an enchanting Christmas experience – and feel as though you’ve traveled back in time – at this Victorian Christmas Festival. The annual festival transforms the already charming town of Hannibal into a Christmas wonderland, where you can listen to traditional Christmas carols, climb aboard a horse-drawn wagon, and go window shopping. But, that’s just the beginning of this unforgettable Christmas adventure.
Discover the magic of an old-fashioned Christmas at the Victorian Festival of Christmas, in historic Hannibal, which runs from November 24 to December 24, 2018.
Stroll along the quaint streets of the historic town, stopping to admire the decorated windows. Those windows will leap alive - with living window scenes - on December 8, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
And, what would an old-fashioned Christmas celebration be without a parade? The Hannibal Jaycees Christmas Parade, with the whimsical theme of Seussical Christmas, marches through town at 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2018.
Of course, Santa will make an appearance, to pose for photos and to listen to little ones' wishes. Visit Santa from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays from November 24 to December 22, 2018 or from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on December 8, 2018.
The Victorian Festival also features a slew of activities, including ornament painting, a mustache competition, a snowball toss, and a Holiday Open House at Main Street Vintage Market.
