It's hard to imagine that the quiet little stream that now passes under the bridge was once forceful enough to create it. If you visit the bridge after a few rainy days, you'll be able to take advantage of the little swimming hole to cool off after hiking.

Although this trail is not too challenging, it may be a bit too tough for small children. However, you can bring your dog out on the trail. You'll find that the hike is well marked, but for the 2.5 mile trip you'll want to take the trail that bears right.
