Mmm. Pizza. Whether you’re feeding a party of 10 or just indulging in a large slice for lunch, this cheesy pie is always a hit. Here are the some of the best of the best in Missouri and as the Italians would say, “Mangiamo!” Let’s eat.
1. Shakespeare's Pizza - Columbia
A favorite among college students and locals, alike. The demand for Shakespeare's pizza is so high, that they had to open two additional pizza shops in town. Don't forget a side of their cheesey garlic bread with tomato sauce.
225 S. 9th St. Columbia, MO 65201
2. Martin City Pizza & Tap Room - Kansas City
Do you ever go to a brewery and are soon disappointed when you realize the only thing they give you to munch on are pretzels or chips? Luckily, at Martin City Brewing Company, you'll not only get to try a selection of amazing beers, but you'll also have your pick from a variety of craft pizzas.
500 E. 135th St.
Kansas City, MO 64145
3. Pagliai's Pizza & Pasta
This is a local favorite when it comes to mouthwatering thin crust pizza. For the past 10 years, it has been voted the best pizza in Cape Girardeau.
1129 Broadway St.
Cape Girardeau, MO 63701
4. Balducci's Winefest - St. Louis
Don't let the name fool you, Balducci's is also quite the "pizza fest", as well. Plus, they serve delicious personal deep dish pizzas, so you can skip having to drive to Chicago.
12527 Bennington Pl.
St. Louis, MO 63146
5. Pogolinos - Desoto
They have a lot of unique pizza pies at this spot in De Soto. The Pogolino Clown pizza is loaded with pepperoni, ham, pork sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and onions.
530 N. 2nd St.
De Soto, MO 63020
6. Stone Canyon Pizza - Parkville and Zona Rosa
Stone Canyon has two locations, one in downtown Parkville and the other in Zona Rosa. They source their meat locally and their cheese from one of the best co-op farms in Wisconsin. With such high quality ingredients, it's no surprise their pizza is out of this world.
15 Main St.
Parkville, MO 64152
Zona Rosa Town Center
8630 Northwest Prairie View Road
Kansas City, MO 64153
7. Waldo Pizza - Kansas City
Waldo isn't thin crust, but it isn't deep dish style either. Their soft pillow-like crust creates the best comfort food pizza in the city. It's located in Kansas City's Waldo neighborhood and it's right next to a few great sports bars in case you want to watch some March Madness games after.
7433 Broadway St. Kansas City, MO 64114
8. Woody's Wood-Fire Pizza - Joplin
For such a tiny pizza shop, you'd be surprised at how high the quality of pizza at Woody's is. It's a no frills kind of place, but it's perfect when you're craving some cheesy delicious pizza.
1831 W. 7th St. Joplin, MO 64801
9. Brooklyn Pizza - Fulton
Who would have thought that you could find authentic New York pizza in rural Missouri? If you dine at Brooklyn Pizza in Fulton, you'll get what I'm talking about. In addition to amazing pizza, you can also order calzones, pasta and other Italian favorites.
501 Court St.
Fulton, MO 65251
10. Black Thorn Pub - St. Louis
Another deep-dish pizza that you can find in the Show-Me State. The cheese may look a little overdone, but trust me, you'll love the smoky taste of this savory pie.
3735 Wyoming St.
St. Louis, MO 63116
11. Bella Napoli - Kansas
Bella Napoli would have to be one of the most authentic Italian eateries in Kansas City. When you walk in, it's not uncommon to hear some of the staff speaking Italian to the customers. In my opinion, that's when you know a place is legit. Their thin crust pizza and light use of cheese stays true to the more authentic Italian style pizza.

Kansas City, MO 64113
