Before you make reservations then hit the water, you'll have to decide what type of trip to embark on: the six-mile float, the 11-mile float, or the two-day float.
On the day of your journey down the Black River, arrive at least 30 minutes before your official departure time. Buses to the river leave at their scheduled time.
Spend your day meandering down the Black River, watching the scenery roll by. If you like to fish, rent a canoe or a kayak. (Fishing from tubes and rafts is not allowed.)
