It's more disappointment than surprise. We're used to unpredictable weather here, but it's always a bummer when it storms on what you had expected would be a sunny day.

10. Enjoying a single day without getting a catchy commercial jingle stuck in your head.

Longtime St. Louisans will chuckle, because these things have been normative to a St. Louisan way of life for decades. The only thing that has changed is the city’s splendor, which grows lovelier year after year.
