8 Amazingly Fun Things You Can Do In St. Louis In An Hour Or Less
St. Louis has many great attractions to spend a whole day visiting, but if you are downtown and only have only an hour to see some sights, these attractions are perfect. Read below for some amazingly fun places to stop by for a sweet treat, a one-of-a-kind gift, or spot to stretch your legs outside while exploring St. Louis.
1. Talk a walk under the Gateway Arch.
A stroll around the Arch grounds is a great way to spend an hour. The Arch is breathtaking from its base and you can also spend sometime admiring the Mighty Mississippi waterfront!

2. Relax at the Citygarden.
The Citygarden adds greenery, sculptures, and water features to the downtown landscape. It is a relaxing and interesting place to visit!

3. Stop by The Grand Hall of Union Station for a drink or lunch.
This is one of the most beautiful places in St. Louis! You can stop by for a bite to eat while you take in the grandeur of this historic building.

4. Take a nice walk along the Riverfront Trail.
This walking trail starts just south of the Gateway Arch and is an amazing spot for viewing the Mississippi River. The trail runs 12.2 miles and end points are located at S. Leonor K. Sullivan Blvd. and Chouteau Ave., and Riverview Dr. at the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge in St. Louis.
5. Hail a horse drawn carriage for a ride through the streets of St. Louis.
You won't be able to miss the horse drawn carriages that await riders when you are downtown. These carriage rides are a great way to see the city and spend an hour relaxing! You can also make a reservation and have your horse drawn carriage waiting for you when you arrive.
6. Have a beer or lunch at the Budweiser Brew House in Ballpark Village.
This huge bar and restaurant is right next to Busch Stadium and features more than 200 beers on tap. They also have a full dinner menu, with local food favorites and American cuisine.
