The Northern Lights May Be Visible Over Missouri This Week Due To A Solar Storm

Eyes to the skies this evening, Missouri! We may just be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the magical Northern Lights for a brief window of time this evening. However, you’ll only have a really brief period – between 9 p.m. and midnight – to see the lights, and that’s only if conditions don’t change. Here’s what you need to know.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Will you head outdoors to see if you can catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights in Missouri? Let us know in the comments! If you’ve been fortunate enough to see the Northern Lights in the past, head over to Missouri Nature Lovers Group on Facebook, and share your experience!
