Don’t Miss The Most Magical Halloween Event In All Of Missouri
Carving pumpkins is a time-honored fall tradition across the nation. However, for many avid pumpkin carvers there is an equally avid pumpkin smasher living in their neighborhood. So fear not, this magical Halloween event in Kingsville, Missouri is full of perfectly preserved and beautifully displayed jack-o-lanterns. The Glow Festival at Powell Gardens is a two night jack-o-lantern festival featuring hundreds of carved and lit pumpkins, food and drink vendors, fun fall activities, and more! So, come see these fantastic carvings and enjoy a worry free evening among the jack-o-lanterns.
Glow is Powell Garden's annual jack-o-lantern festival and will light up the night once again on October 20th and 21st.
Hundreds of pumpkins are brought into the garden each year in preparation for the big jack-o-lantern event. Big and small, at Glow you can see pumpkins of all sizes.
Once all the pumpkins are carved and ready to go, they are placed all around the garden and lit. Once they are all a glow you can truly appreciated all the hard work that went into creating each jack-o-lantern.
You never know what other surprises could be unveiled at Glow. Last year the event volunteers were able to make this amazing dragon for the event entrance!
Glow will also feature food vendors, wine, beer, and soft drinks. Try the fried meatballs from Boyers and grab a bag of kettle corn before you hop on the hayride.
Powell Gardens will stay open late for festival attendees. Friday and Saturday's activities will begin at 4 p.m. and will shut down each night at 10 p.m.
