In fact, this ice carnival in Missouri promises plenty of excitement and a full menu of outdoor activities. Make sure you mark your calendar, however, because the annual carnival kicks off this weekend.

Bundle up the whole family for a weekend of fun at the Loop Ice Carnival, held at Delmar Loop in St. Louis on January 19-20, 2019.

The weekend officially kicks off on Friday, January 18, 2019 with the Snowball at the Moonrise Hotel. Tickets are a $5 donation.
Kick off the weekend of fun by running or cheering on runners in the Frozen Buns Run. Starting time is 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Then, start exploring the carnival grounds, dotted with ice sculptures.

In fact, you can watch ice carving demonstrations, as expert ice carvers turn blocks of ice into frozen masterpieces.
