Sample Unlimited Tacos At The Upcoming Taco Festival In Missouri
Start the countdown until spring! Sure, we’ve got a ton to look forward to – from the blossoming flowers to the birds singing in the trees. Now we’ve got one more epic event to start planning for, too. Tantalize your taste buds and have a day of fun at this taco festival in Missouri that will feature some of Missouri’s best tacos and plenty of other goodies.
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo a few days early at the Kansas City Taco Festival, slated for May 2-3, 2020. Saturday’s festivities will run from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday’s hours are 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The two-day festival will host more than 20 local taco vendors, who offer a combined 75 types of tacos, so you’ll definitely want to arrive at the festival really hungry.
Don’t forget to check out the other food, too – tamales, nachos, and Mexican street corn, for example.
However, sampling tacos is just the beginning of the fun. Love a good hot chili pepper? Sign up for the hot chili pepper contest to see if you can out-eat everyone else.
You’ll need something tasty to wash all those tacos and hot chili peppers down with, so stop by the margarita bar. The taco festival will also feature tequila sampling.
The family-friendly festival boasts a full menu of activities – live entertainment, games for the adults, and bounce houses and face painting for the kiddos.
All tacos at the festival will cost $3, which you’ll pay for with vouchers. Three admission options are available: VIP, Premium, and General Admission.
VIP admission allows you to enter the taco festival two hours early and features such fun benefits as a two-hour party package, five vouchers for tacos, private bathrooms, and a gift bag.
With the premium tickets, you’ll receive five taco vouchers, a voucher for a drink, and the same VIP gift bag. General admission includes one drink voucher.
Admission for kids 10 and younger is free.
