11 Foolproof Ways To Spot An Imposter In Kansas City

Kansas City is full of all sorts of people, but some things are just too easy to point out. For instance, we all know about Fountain Day in the spring, and that sometimes we’re called the Paris of the Plains for one reason or another. Some of us don’t like sports, but for the most part, Kansas Citians all unite for big wins, and it’s hard to find anyone willing to pass up great food. However… there are some people who just might be an imposter posing as a true Kansas Citian. Do you think you know any?

1. They don't own any Chiefs, Royals, or Sporting KC gear.

Sometimes you don't even like sports, but it's a gift you have hanging in your closet.
2. They're not prepared for an impromptu shower or flurry.

As any true KC native knows, the weather can change at any time. Bringing a jacket and/or umbrella in your car is standard.
