If you ask an out-of-towner what they think of when they hear the name “Kansas City,” you’ve got a good chance they mention your location between the two states, or The Wizard of Oz (for some inexplicable reason). However, they’ll soon find out that we’re a city full of pride for our businesses and sports teams. There’s just some things you’ll never catch Kansas Citians doing, but it’s all in good fun. Do you know of any others?

There's no possible way that Memphis or Texas barbecue is better than ours, and you know it.

Whether it's a flat tire or a dead battery, one of us will be sure to make sure you're alright.

We have a lot of weather fluctuation in short periods of time, so it's not too upsetting to hear about sudden rain or a little snow.

Don't even think about it.

This is a great city for craft beers, and odds are you'll like them better than any other national brand, hands down.



They're all great teams, and we support them through wins and losses.

There's so much to do every weekend, from trying a new restaurant to attending an event downtown.

There's not much that can keep a Kansas Citian away from a home game, especially the weather. You'll even see people hanging out downtown when it's pouring out.

Odds are it's a great time for photos, and you won't even feel the main force of it anyways. Everyone's got a little storm chaser in them somewhere!

There's no way you can't be roped into joining the celebration, even if it's just a cup of green beer.

Kansas City sunsets are stunning, and you'll regret not snapping that picture when you had the chance.
