You Won’t Want To Miss These Incredible Fireworks Shows In Missouri This Year
In both 2015 and 2016, we told you all about some of the fantastic fireworks displays happening in Missouri. As the 4th of July nears again, you’re probably wondering: “where are the best fireworks near me this year?” For 2017, we have complied a huge list of amazing fireworks shows happening across the Show Me State. Let the professionals handle the explosives and have a fun and safe Independence Day celebration!
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. If you love spending your holiday on the lake, you won't have to miss out on a spectacular fireworks show. The 30th Annual Fireburst at Table Rock Lake will be held on July 1st at the Kimberling City bridge. Fireworks begin shortly after dusk at approximately 9:00 p.m. The show will be synchronized with music on My 100.1 FM. Click here for more information.


Enjoy an evening of Independence Day festivities at the annual Fire In the Sky celebration in Columbia. Entertainment and activities for kids will be held in Peace Park and Flat Branch Park (just a few blocks apart) beginning at 6:30 p.m. The fireworks display will begin at 9:15 p.m. and are choreographed to music simulcast on BXR 102.3. Both parks should have great views of the display and you are welcome to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Click here for more information.


The annual KC Riverefest declarations will be held at Richard L. Berkley Riverfront Park
(1298 Riverfront Dr.) beginning at 4 p.m. Parking is first come, first-served and costs $10 per car or you can take the free shuttle from City market. Admission to the event is $5 but free for kids 12 and under. Fireworks will begin after sundown. Click here for more information.


Running from July 2nd through July 4th, Fair St. Louis is a free to attend event featuring live music, food, and fireworks in St. Louis' Forest Park. On Sunday see Akon perform at 8:15 followed by fireworks. On Monday the headliner 3 Doors Down will perform at 8:30 and the night will again end with a fireworks display. Go all out on the 4th with a performance by Jake Owen and a fireworks display to close out the event at 9:35. Click here for more information.


The biggest fireworks display in the state is held in Jefferson City, Missouri's state capitol. The Salute To America event will begin On July 1st with live music and food at the Missouri State Penitentiary (which now holds events and offers tours of the historic facility). There will be carnival rides, food vendors, talent shows, live performances, a beer garden, and other activities planned throughout the event dates. The largest celebration is on the 4th with 17 blocks reserved for activities. Events begin with a bike ride at 9 a.m. and end with a performance by the Gin Blossoms at 7 p.m. and fireworks around 9 p.m. Click here for more information.
