We are well into the fall season, but there are still a couple more weeks of some great fall attractions and activities. We’ve already told you about some
corn mazes and pumpkin patches here in Missouri, now let’s get to the scary stuff. These haunted houses vary in age and scare level, so make sure you check them out before you go, and many might be too scary for kids (or wimpy adults). Here are 14 awesome haunted attractions in Missouri. Catch them while you can and just in time for Halloween!
During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.
1. The Darkness - St. Louis
2015 Season: October through November 1st with special events throughout the year. See website for hours.
Location: 1525 South 8th Street, St. Louis, next to old Soulard Market
Features: In its 22nd year, The Darkness is now FOUR haunted attractions in one location for one price including the two story Darkness Haunted House, Terror Visions 3D Haunted House, New Outdoor Scare Zone and the Monster Museum and gift store.

2. Creepyworld - Fenton
2015 Season: Weekends Friday/Saturday 7-12am Special Hours October 16, 17, 23, 24, 6pm to 12am, Weekdays: Sunday-Thursday And Every Night Halloween Week 7-9:30pm, November 1st, 6 and 7th 7-11 pm. See website for more details.
Location: 1400 S Old Highway 141, Fenton, next to Koller Plastics on 141 and 13th Street
Features: 13 haunted Attractions in one location including TWO all NEW haunted houses including Whispering Winds Cemetery and The Doll House Haunted Mansion. Also, Silo-X, Hornbuckel Pig Farm, Grisly Gore Zone, Carnivorous in 3D, Tool Shed, Dark Zone, Zombie City Paintball Hayride, Evil Dread, Supermax, and Haunted Hospital plus the Hollywood Pumpkin Display and the Worlds only all dead Zombie Band.

3. The Abyss: The Haunting of Lemp Brewery - St. Louis
2015 Season: October: Weekdays Sunday-Thursday and Nightly Halloween Week 7-9:30pm, Weekends Friday/Saturday: 7pm to 12am, Special Hours October 16, 17, 23, 24 6pm to 12am. See website for more information.
Location: 3500 Lemp Avenue, St. Louis
Features: Underground caves and tunnels in the legendary haunted Lemp Brewery. No animations or fake monsters, but no LIGHT either.
General Admission: Adult $25, Child $23

4. Necropolis Haunted House - Columbia
2015 Season: September through November 1st. See website for hours.

Features: Haunted factory Necropolis Haunted House and The Pit.

5. Fearfest Haunted House - Columbia
2015 Season: Thursday-Saturday in October
Location: 6399 US-40, Columbia
Features: Tormented haunted house, Zombie Safari paintball attack
General Admission: $20 Zombie Safari, $20 Tormented Haunted House, $25 Combo Ticket, $35 VIP Combo (gets you to the front of the line)
6. The Beast - Kansas City
2015 Season: Evenings on Friday and Saturday in September and Thursday through Saturday in October. Also open Sunday, Nov. 1st, 6th and 7th. “Closes when the fog lifts on the Werewolf Forest”
Location: 1401 W. 13th, Kansas City
Features: Open format haunted house, a live alligator and front door entertainment including the Thriller Dancers, Headless Horseman, The Beast and more.

7. Edge of Hell - Kansas City
2015 Season: Open Sept. 11 through Nov. 7, evenings 7:30 p.m. until “Hell freezes over” (Friday/Saturday in September, Thursday-Saturday in October and Sunday Nov. 1st, 6th and 7th)
Location: 1300 W. 12th Street, Kansas City
Features: In a converted 5-story warehouse, a quarter mile route ends in a 5 story slide “into the arms of the devil”

8. Macabre Cinema – Kansas City
2015 Season: October through November 1st, Thursday-Saturday
Location: 1222 W 12th Street, Kansas City
Features: 40 foot “bat-pole”, 45-60 minute adventure through a haunted 1930’s movie theater, 4 floors and a dungeon

9. Phobius Haunted House- Wright City
2015 Season: September 25-November 13, See website for hours and days.

Features: Haunted house

10. Exeter Corn Maze - Exeter
2015 Season: Friday & Saturday through November 1st
Location: State Hwy MM Exeter
Features: Zombie Paintball, The Harvest of Terror, The Haunted Barn, as well as many non-horror fall activities

11. Ozark Nightmares Haunted House – Lebanon
2015 Season: Fridays and Saturdays in October 7pm til 11pm
Location: 22599 Highway 32, Lebanon
Features: haunted house, wagon ride to corn maze, carnival games, live entertainment
General Admission: $6.00 for the haunted house or wagonride/maze, $10 for both, $15 for both plus 10 carnival game tickets.
12. The Twisted Forest – Joplin
2015 Season: Fridays and Saturdays in October 7 p.m. to midnight
Location: 601 Reddings Road, Joplin
Features: located on a turn of the century farm property abandoned in the 80’s due to supernatural disturbances. Includes trail through woods, barn, house and maze, and live actors
General Admission: $15
13. Haunted Hannibal Ghost Tours – Hannibal
2015 Season: May 1-October 31 tours nightly at 7:00 p.m., November tours nightly at 5:00 p.m. Also available by appointment year round
Location: Tours depart from the Hannibal History Museum, 200 N. Main Street, Hannibal
Features: Guided tour of Hannibal’s many haunted sites.
General Admission: $15 Adults, Children 10 and under $7.50, not recommended for children 5 and under
14. Black Forest Haunted Ghost Town – Cape Girardeau
2015 Season: Friday and Saturdays October 16-31, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
