These 20 Incredible Farmers Markets In Missouri Are a Must Visit
Missouri is home to A LOT of farms which means we are also abundant with farmers’ markets. There is a great resource called
Missouri Farmers’ Market Directory that allows you to search for markets near you. We got things started by choosing a few from different areas in Missouri. It’s that time of year that even the seasonal-only markets are gearing up for their opening day. Support your local farmers by shopping the farmers’ market nearest you.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. 1. Historic Soulard Farmers Market
Open Year Round: Wednesdays-Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and Fridays-Saturdays, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Located at 730 Carrol Street, St. Louis, Missouri, a half mile north of the Anheuser-Busch Brewery.
Directions: From Interstates 55 and 44, take the Park Avenue/7th Street exit. From Highway 40, take the Broadway exit and follow signs to 7th Street. They are located near 7th and Lafayette.

2. Greater Springfield Farmers Market
Open Year Round (with varying hours): From April 12 - October 31,
8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. every Saturday, and 8:00 a.m. - noon every Tuesday and Thursday.
Located on the southeast corner of the Battlefield Mall parking lot at the intersection of S. Glenstone and E. Battlefield.

Open Seasonally From April to October: Wednesdays and Saturdays, 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Located at the East Hills Mall parking lot behind Sears & Dillards, off Woodbine Road.

4. Chillicothe Farmers Market, Chillicothe
Open Seasonally May through October: Every Saturday, rain or shine. Sales begin strictly with the ringing of the bell at 8:00 a.m.

Directions: Take highway 65 to downtown Chillicothe. The Farmers' market is on the east side of Hwy 65 in the parking lot of the Livingston County Courthouse, on the west side of the Courthouse Square.

5. Hannibal Central Park Farmers Market, Hannibal
Open Seasonally from mid-June to mid-September: Tuesdays, 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Additional Days from May to October: Saturdays 8:00 a.m. - Noon
Located on the west end of Central Park at 5th & Broadway in downtown Hannibal.
6. Depot Park Farmers Market, Moberly
Open Seasonally from May to October: Thursdays, 3:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Located at the intersection of Sturgeon St. & Reed St. at the Historic Depot Railroad Park, 101 W Reed Street.
7. Briarcliff Farmers Market, Kansas City
Open Seasonally from May to September: Thursdays, 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
Located at Hwy 169 & Briarcliff Pkwy. Just 5 minutes north of downtown across the Broadway Bridge. Take the Hwy 169 exit off of Hwy 29 coming from the North. The market is located in the center of Briarcliff Village next to GreenAcres, Trezo Mare & the Café.
8. Gladstone Farmers Market
Open Seasonally from May to October: Wednesdays, 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 7:00 a.m.-Noon
Located at the Gladstone HyVee, 7117 N. Prospect in Gladstone.
9. Blue Springs Farmers' Market
Open Seasonally from May to October: Saturdays 7:00 a.m.-Noon
Directions: On the east side of Kansas City, take I-70 to the Blue Springs Highway 7 Exit. Then go south on Highway 7 for one mile to Main Street and turn right. The Farmers Market is at the corner of 11th and Main Streets, across from the police station.

Open Year-round: Saturdays & Sundays, 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Additional Days from May to September: Wednesdays, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Location: 20 East 5th Street
Directions: From I-35, exit at Broadway. Take 6th Street to Walnut and go north two blocks to 5th Street.
