You’ll Be Pleased To Hear That Missouri’s Upcoming Winter Is Supposed To Be More Mild Than Last Year’s
Summer isn’t quite over but these cooler temperatures have gotten a lot of people to start thinking about the upcoming seasons. Winter seems far away now but colder temperatures are just around the corner. Winter predictions for 2018-2019 have been released by the Old Farmer’s Almanac and we think you’re going to like what they have to say about Missouri. Know for having wild weather, we typically get a little bit of everything here in the Show Me State and sometimes we get a bit of everything all in one day. However, if you’re hoping to avoid the polar vortex this winter – you’re in luck! Check out what the Old Farmer’s Almanac says we have in-store for us this winter.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
The Old Farmer’s Almanac claims an 80% success rate with these forecasts, so we’ll see whether they’re right or if we fall in the 20% and end up with frigid winter days. What do you think about these predictions? Would you prefer a forecast without snow or do you love a white winter? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
