Chances are pretty good when most people think about a day on the farm, they imagine picking pumpkins around Halloween, going on hayrides, and strolling among fields of colorful flowers in the spring. Missouri is home to another type of farm, however, that promises a tasty experience. This farm brewery in Missouri pours its own beers and dishes up some delicious food, too.

Bring the whole family and the pets, as long as they’re leashed, along with you when you visit Piney River Brewing Company, nestled on a 160-acre farm in Bucyrus.

The popular Missouri farm brewery offers a generous selection of handcrafted beers in a variety of flavors – from black walnut to Lizzie Twister blackberry – all sold in cans.

While tours are available, make sure you also save time for a visit to the taproom. The BARn Taproom features both pints and sample trays.

You’ll need something to pair that beer with, and the BARn serves both soft pretzels and handmade pizzas, likely to be a hit with the little ones if you brought kids. Guests are also welcome to bring their own snacks and picnics.
