Defiance is important to Missouri’s history as the area was once home to native Americans, pioneer Daniel Boone, and the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railway. Now, Defiance is a peaceful destination for those who appreciate Missouri’s natural beauty.
You can find so many things to do and see in Defiance; visit one of the many wineries, stay in one of the large historic bed and breakfast inns, explore the Katy Trail, kayak the Missouri River, or cruise down highway 94 on your motorcycle. Regardless of why you decide to visit, you’ll never forget a trip to this enchanting Missouri town.
