If you’ve got a dog, you know it’s a great outing when you get to take him or her along with you on an adventure! There are plenty of dog-friendly places in Missouri and one of our very favorites is the Twin Lakes Recreation Area in Columbia. This 73-acre community park is a blast for adults, kids, and dogs alike! If you have a friendly dog who loves getting outside, this is a spot you don’t want to miss.

The park is fenced on three sides and bordered by a 16-acre lake on the fourth side. Dogs are welcome to jump in the lake for a swim if they like!

The fun doesn't have to stop just because the season is cold. This 3.3-acre park provides a safe haven for dogs in the winter.
