Pick Your Own Sunflowers At This Charming Farm Hiding In Missouri

Who’s ready for one last hurrah this summer? Since we have just a few weekends officially left of the season, we probably all want to say goodbye to summer in our own way. For those who love sunflowers, there’s no better place to spend a late summer afternoon than at the Sunflower Festival at this charming farm in Missouri.

Country Roads Family Fun Farm, in Stotts City, welcomes guests to celebrate one of the prettiest parts of summer - sunflowers - at its Sunflower Festival.

Set for the weekends of September 5-6 and 12-13, 2020, the Sunflower Festival offers the perfect way to say goodbye to summer and hello to fall.

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., which gives you plenty of time to enjoy all that the farm has to offer. Start by meandering through the acres of brilliant sunflowers.

Don't forget your camera, because you'll definitely want to snap photos of the sunflowers in all colors. For an additional fee, you can also pick a few sunflowers to take home with you.

General admission to the sunflower field is just $5 per person. However, for $10 per person, you can also have a ton of fun on the farm at the indoor and outdoor play areas and the petting zoo.

The kiddos will have a blast playing on the giant bounce pillow, going on a ride on the barrel train, and playing on the playground.

Inside, you'll find even more fun - from crafts and inflatables to a hay mountain and swings.

Stop by the petting zoo, too, to visit with the resident animals - pygmy goats, rabbits, and miniature horses, for example.
