Copper Run Distillery: The Hidden Moonshine Tasting Room In Missouri Is A Dream Come True

Next time you’re on the hunt for something fun and unique to do, consider a visit to this quaint moonshine tasting room in Missouri.

Pull out the ole bucket list! And, add Copper Run Distillery, "the first legal distillery in the Ozark Mountains since prohibition ended in 1933."

Of course, you'll probably want to start your visit in the tasting room, which boasts a menu of moonshine, whiskey, and signature cocktails.

Order from a selection of moonshine, such as the Ozark Mountain Moonshine, an 80-proof, un-aged whiskey, and Overproof Ozark Mountain Moonshine.

Or, perhaps you're in the mood for a bloody Mary? Then, treat yourself to a Moonshine Mary, a Bloody Mary mixed with Copper Run Moonshine. Pair your drink with a snack, like the chips and salsa or a sausage and cheese plate.

Copper Run Distillery offers tours of the distillery at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.

Kick back and relax with a drink - and listen to live music - on Saturdays between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Or, on those lovely Missouri days, take your drink outdoors, and breathe in the fresh air of the Ozark Mountains.
